Personal - Hawaii Vacation: 08.2011 Part 3

(Sorry these three vacation posts are in backwards sequence, I can't seem to figure out how to fix it without starting all over again, so here are links to take you to Part 1, Part 2)

Day 6
We started our day with lunch at the Ala Moana Center, and relaxed until we left for our dinner cruise with Atlantis Navatek.

The menu included: shrimp with cocktail sauce, salad, steamed Maine lobster, roasted tenderloin of beef, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables, dinner roll, and chocolate mousse cake.  And yes it was delicious!

The infamous Diamond Head!

On Friday nights, the Hilton Hawaiin Village puts on a fireworks show from their lagoon which we were able to enjoy from the cruise ship.

Day 7
China Town is not part of the upscale Waikiki Beach Walk area, but Mikhael had found online a really good restaurant called Little Village Noodle House, so we thought we’d take a trip there via city bus.  Overall it was quite the experience!
The food was great!

Due to not knowing the city bus routes, we were on “TheBus” much longer then anticipated...

We went back down to the Waikiki Beach Walk to relax.

These pictures were taken at the Royal Hawaiian, also known as the “Pink Hotel”.

Next we headed over to the Moana Surfrider Hotel, which is my favorite hotel, it’s so beautiful.  We went to the back patio and people watched for a while. :)

After that we walked around the Waikiki Beach Walk before heading back to our hotel.

Day 8
Just before leaving for the airport we took a walk around the Hilton Hawaiian Lagoon.

A view of our hotel.

The far side of the lagoon and harbor.

The last picture we took of us in Hawaii. :)
